Public catalog

A book enters the public catalog only after its source and rights basis have been reviewed for public publication. The edition page should identify the source, language, translator when known, and the evidence available for that decision.

Public-domain status can differ by country and can be affected by translations, annotations, cover art, and later editorial material. Catalog provenance is documentation, not legal advice for every jurisdiction.

Private imports

A personal-copy EPUB is private from intake. It is not added to the public catalog, sitemap, discovery feeds, or public provenance pages, and its storage identity and ownership details are not exposed.

Edition corrections

Epsilon may correct typographical errors, repair chapter boundaries, or improve structural and speaker attribution. Those changes are recorded against a new edition revision with source and revision hashes. A public summary can describe material corrections without publishing private reviewer notes.

Narration and packaging

The public-domain status of a source text does not automatically apply to a new cover, synthesized narration, cue timeline, editorial metadata, or other production artifact. Reuse information should therefore be stated for each downloadable artifact rather than inferred from the underlying work.

Corrections and rights concerns

Passage-level text or audio problems can be reported from the reader. Broader source, attribution, or rights concerns can be raised through epsilon.sh; a disputed public edition can be withdrawn while its provenance record remains auditable.
